Obituary for Lillian Leona Galster

Lillian Leona Galster, age 91, of Round Lake, passed away on August 29, 2018 at Condell Medical Center. She was born on May 8, 1927 to Robert and Crystal (Jones) Whittemyer in Detroit, MI and was later united in marriage to Eugene N. Galster.

Lillian took great pride in raising her children, caring for her home, perfecting her homecooked meals, and quilting. Lillian lived an exceptionally full life, surrounded by love, and will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her children, Steven (Mary) Galster, Marilyn Romb, Ralph (Lisa) Galster, Sharon Gollwitzer, Jason (Joy) Hansen; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene; her son, Ronald; and her sisters, Gloria and Dolly.

The family chose to privately celebrate Lillian’s life.
