Peter Depierro, 95, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018

Born on February 18, 1923 to Frank and Anna Depierro in Chicago, IL.

In his earlier years, Peter served with the U. S. Navy aboard the USS Weehawken Coastal Minelayer 12 during World War II.

He is survived by his children; Cindy Depierro, Carol Moore (John Brown), William (Margaret) Couch, Ronald (Cheryl) Hefner, and Len Hefner; his grandchildren; Kelly (Manny) Roa, Michael (Alyona) Moore, Nicole Moore, Ryan Lewis, Gregory (Maritza) Couch, Angela Couch , Krystal Hefner, Ron Hefner Jr., and Brett Hefner; his great-grandchildren, Monica, Selena, Jesse, Manny, Mia, Emma, Jake, Brooklyn, Brianna, Evan, Melody, Krystal, and Kaylynn; and his brother, Frank ( late Jean ) Depierro.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Depierro; his parents, Frank and Anna Depierro; his siblings, June Hudson (Maltese), Richard (the late Lolita) Depierro, and Catherine (the late Norman) Lundgren.

Friends may visit with his family from 5 p.m. until the memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050.

Inurnment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
