Andrew Eberle, age 77, of Johnsburg, died suddenly on Sunday, February 28, while wintering in Marco Island, Florida with his loving wife Anna by his side.
He was born April 22, 1932 in Yugoslavia to Fredrick and Marie (Becker) Eberle. On October 3, 1953 he married Anna Hehn at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Chicago.
Andrew came to the United States in 1950 from Germany to Chicago. He became a U.S. citizen in 1958. During his younger days he played soccer and continued to be an avid fan of soccer thru out his life. Andrew belonged to several German Social Groups. He was President of Eberle Manufacturing Company of Wheeling in the thermo tooling industry.
He is survived by his wife Anna of 57 years; children, Robert (Victoria) Eberle of Lindenhurst, Susanne (Peter) Kolb of Gurnee, Lori (Kenneth) Sall of Hoffman Estates; grandchildren, Corrine (Frank) Sellin, Eric and Adrienne Eberle, Dianna, Martina, and Andrew Kolb and Nicholas, Kathryn, and Anna Sall; great-grandchildren, Dean, Cassandra, Anneliese; a sister, Elvira (David) Harris of Baltimore, MD; brother-in-law, Anton (Joan) Hehn of Munster, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010 at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, Il 60050.
Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 6 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. when prayers will be said before leaving for the 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church, 2302 W. Church Street, Johnsburg, Il 60051.
Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Johnsburg.
