In Loving Memory Ronald G. Lisek 9/13/1949 - 6/21/2010

Ronald G. Lisek, age 60, of Johnsburg, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Fountains of Crystal Lake.

He was born, September 13, 1949 in Chicago to John C. and Emily A. (Macak) Lisek. On February 12, 1977 he married Victoria Jean Fleszewski in Palos Hills.

A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. he served in Vietnam from 1970 until 1977as an air traffic control communication technician.

Ron was a longtime resident of Johnsburg. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. He was employed as a field engineer for Westfilia Mechnical for over 15 years. He also worked for Gonnella Frozen Products, Felpro, Navistar, Reliable Electric and GTE Automatic Electric.

He was an all around Mr. Fix It, his sister’s best friend and an awesome brother, uncle and God Father.

He is survived by a sister, Violet (Frank) Senese of Hickory Hills; two nieces, Cheyanne and Samantha; a nephew, Nicholas; and his best friend, Joseph Luchowski.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Vicki on May 11, 2009; and his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Zarzycki Manor Chapel, 8999 S. Archer Avenue, Willow Springs, IL 60480.

The funeral service will be at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 25, at Zarzycki Manor Chapel.

Inurnment will be private.
