In Loving Memory Angela Marie Mielke 7/30/1933 - 6/20/2010

Angela Marie Mielke, age 76, of McHenry, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at her home.

She was born July 30, 1933 in Chicago to Alex and Grace (Volpe) Ruffino. On June 13, 1953 she married Edwin J. Mielke at St. James Church in Arlington Heights.

Angela was a food service worker for the Thomas Middle School in Arlington Heights for over eighteen years. She loved dogs, enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors. She was a doting grandmother and to Angela, family was the most important aspect of her life.

Survivors include her husband Edwin of 57 years; two daughters, Dawn (Ted) Stirber of Wonder Lake, Lynn (Larry) Mueller of Johnsburg; three grandchildren, Tanya, Tara and Kyle; and a sister, Lucille (the late Paul) Knott of Buffalo Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and neighbors are invited to meet with the family from 12 p.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service on Tuesday, June 29, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, Il 60050.
