David Edward Pierce

David E. Pierce, age 48, died Friday, July 16, at his home in Lake In The Hills.

He was born October 9, 1962 in Woodstock to William E. and Karen J. (Prouty) Pierce.

He had been a resident of the Algonquin/Lake In The Hills area for the past two years. He was employed as a machinist for many years, and worked at Industrial Machine Manufacturing, Paragon Industrial in Elk Grove Village and WCHS in Wheeling.

He was an avid snowmobiler, with the north woods in Wisconsin being his favorite place to snowmobile. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. David was active with Friends of Bill, where he served as leader many times. He was always there as a friend.

He is survived by a son, Joshua Pierce of Holiday Hills; his mother and step-father, Karen and Harold Kivley of McHenry; a sister, Debra (Lee) Lomax of McHenry; and two nephews, Kristopher and Kasey Lomax.

He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Pierce, Jr. in 1991.

A private memorial service was held for the family.

Cremation rite will be accorded to him. Inurnment in Minoqua, Wisconsin is planned.
